Ambassador exists to honor God by teaching and encouraging believers to be more like Christ. There are four primary ways in which we endeavor to honor God:
Worship
The primary focus of our church service is praising God, and this focus is accomplished through preaching the Word of God (1 Tim 4:13-16), reading the Word of God (1 Tim 4:13), and singing praises to God (Col 3:16).
Edification
Another element of our church is building up believers in their most holy faith. This is done through singing to one another (Col 3:16), praying together (Acts 2:42; Eph 6:18), encouraging one another (1 Thes 5:11; Jude 1:20), and participating in the Lord’s Supper (Acts 2:42; 20:7).
Fellowship
A third essential to this body of believers is fellowshipping of believers. Fellowship is strengthened through accountability (Heb 10:25), corporate prayer (Acts 2:42; Eph 6:18), and fulfilling of ministry responsibilities (1 Cor 16:2).
Evangelism
Another responsibility of the church of Jesus Christ is in spreading the gospel to the world around us. Reaching the lost happens when each member builds relationships within his or her own network of friends and family (Acts 20:20-21, 25-27). It is also accomplished through church-wide outreach activities, namely, visitation and evangelistic outreach events.
